Configuration
All configuration for the DayZ++ bot is managed through the dashboard.
If you’re just starting out, here are some helpful tips to guide you:
Types of Settings
Configuration is divided into two main categories:
-
Discord Server Settings
These cover features tied directly to your Discord server, such as the economy system. -
Game Server Settings
These are where you’ll likely spend most of your time. They include options for zones, feeds, security, and more.
Navigation
- After logging into the dashboard and selecting your Discord server, you’ll first land on the Discord Server Settings page.
- To access game-specific options:
- Expand the Gameserver Settings tab in the sidebar.
- Select your desired game server.
- You’ll be redirected to a dedicated configuration page for that server.
Tips
- Explore all the different pages within the dashboard as well as this documentation to get familiar with the options.
- Each settings page includes tooltips (look for the question mark symbol) that explain the purpose of each setting.
- While the dashboard may feel overwhelming at first, the structure becomes intuitive quickly.
- DayZ++ offers one of the most extensive customization options available among DayZ console killfeed service providers.
